My car and I are always on the go. I cut receipts from various places where I shop or meet up with my friends. The receipts are mementos of those places, and I collaged them together to form the shape of the steering wheel. Steeven Salvat's work “Cancer Gigalain” inspired my artwork tremendously. Just like Salvat combines mechanical and biological parts within his unrealistic creatures, I combine the hand-drawn and collaged images to show the inside and outside of the wheel.

This mechanical eye was inspired by my previous work involving car gears. My intent was to show the negative impact of technology on my life. Following René Magritte's style, I drew a blank eye to represent humans and their outlook on life. The eye is made of coding lines and gears to show how humans are becoming more mechanical by relying on technology over their own senses. The decorative gears mimic Tim Lewis' illustration style, emphasizing the sharp angles of mechanical parts in my work.

My intent for this work was to show how my family and friends have impacted my identity. I made a giant crayon from smaller crayons as it represents me being the product of influences around me. By blending together individual crayons, which represent individuals in my life, and creating a product, representing my identity, it abstractly shows how my identity was formed from others around me. This piece is conceptual art that was inspired by conceptual artists Damien Hirst and Joseph Kosuth.
